A five-year-old boy from Quezon City became viral on social media after his father posted a video of him crying because of his "too many" names on Facebook.

In the clip, Drayven Thomas Valdez told his parents that he had a “long name” and that he was having trouble writing it. The young boy wanted to reduce the length of his name as much as possible.
He even suggested that he wanted his name to be “Boy Valdez” instead. He claimed that his suggestion would be an easier name to write down.
Drayven’s name is a combination of names of different family members. He was named after his father Ray, grandfather Ruben, and maternal great-grandfather Thomas.
Boy’s parents react
Drayven’s parents have been generally good-humored about their son’s complaints.
In an interview, Ray shared that Drayven’s frustration stemmed from being required to write his full name on a whole page of the notebook. He said that his son even wanted to go to the city hall to have his name changed as soon as possible.
The viral video has already recorded more than one million views on Facebook. It also has 30,000 reactions on the social media platform.
