Video of a Child Whose Arm Got Stuck on an Escalator Went Viral Online!

Local authorities around the mall swiftly turned off the escalator which prevented further injuries from happening. The little girl can be seen crying while her father frantically attempts to calm her until rescuers arrive.

It it still unclear how the incident unfolded. Some say that the child was playing along the escalator and she landed with her left arm and it got snatched along the way.

Fortunately the child was rescued. Because of the incident, parents are advised to always monitor their children when riding escalators to prevent any accidents from happening.

The video garnered hundreds of thousands of views and shares from many netizens who expressed their concern and worry about the child. Some have commented that they  initially thought it was her hair that got stuck but after closer inspection, it was her left arm. Some netizens blasted the bystanders for just filming the incident instead of helping the child. Either way, do not let your children play along the escalator. If you can, pick them up to make sure they're safe.
