The Gonzaga sisters recently uploaded a candid vlog which took a turn for an emotional opening up of the younger Alex Gonzaga’s bottled up struggles growing up.
Philippine actress Toni Gonzaga uploaded the “What made my Sister Cry…” video with sister vlogger Alex Gonzaga, where Toni decided to throw Alex questions that she has never asked her younger sister.
It turned out Alex had a hard time growing up with having less of their parents’ attention, when Toni started show business.
“Success for me is when your family is proud of you. Alex said. “It took me a while to realize na yung meron ka, hindi ko makukuha yun dahil hindi yun ang para sa akin.”
Alex said the verse made her emotional and she felt as if the Lord is telling her that the he will really never leave her side. Two years after reading the said verse, Alex started vlogging and rediscovered herself in the process.
When Toni asked Alex what her message is to her 8.4 million Youtube subscribers, the comedian quipped, “You are an answered prayer kay Lord.” Alex also gave her fans a piece of advice, emphasizing that challenges and hardships are good for their growth as a person.

It was not until the younger Gonzaga came across a verse from the bible that changed her perspective - Joshua 1:5, which states: “No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
