Bread and Pastry Production NC II: How To Enroll In This Free TESDA Online Course

One of the most popular free online courses offered at the TESDA Online Program, otherwise known as eTESDA, is the Bread and Pastry Production NC II.

This course covers the needed knowledge and skills to become a baker or a patissier/pastry cook. Under this course, you will get to know the steps in producing, filling, decorating, as well as presenting an array of cakes and sponges.

Such skills are essential if you wish to be employed in hotels, restaurants, and other food-related companies in the country as well as abroad.

Apart from these, learners will get to know the techniques and procedures in dessert packaging. The course also covers topics on accident prevention and safety awareness.

How to Enroll In the Bread and Pastry Production NC II Course

The process is easy. All you have to do is to head on over to www.e-tesda.gov.ph (which is the official website of the eTESDA). Once you have landed on the webpage, you will then need to sign-up. To do so, you will need to click on the "Log In" tab located at the upper right part of the page.

Upon clicking it, you will then need to create new account. Look for the tab that will let you do the job.

Nominate a username and password and fill out the form. Click the "Create My New Account" option.

Note that you will need to verify your account from the email address you provided. It is highly possible that the email from eTESDA is in the "SPAM" folder of your account, so you better check it out.

Once you have successfully verified your account, you are now free to pick any of the courses, which include the Bread and Pastry Production NC II.

The good news is that, once you are done with the course, you will be given a certificate of completion that serves as proof that you have finished all the requirements needed in this course.

Upon receiving the certificate of completion, you can now take the NC II assessment at any TESDA center near you.

Once you will receive your NC II, you can then apply as a pastry chef or baker in restaurants, bakery shops, and even in five-star hotels.

See, the process is easy. So, if you are interested, head to www.e-tesda.gov.ph and start learning how to bake cakes or prepare other desserts. -- DAVE CALPITO
